Bradley Barns Nursery are having an Open Day on Friday 23rd November, 9:30-11:30 and then 2:30-4:30.
We would love to see everyone on the day but please can you book a time slot with the Office if you wish to attend. This gives you the perfect opportunity to see how we have changed our layout to run this fantastic farm nursery to develop our special little people. Current and new parents are all very welcome. 🐑🐔🐄🌳🌼👫
We are happy to say that we have come second in this years Cheshire Farms competition in the diversification section. Although not quite achieving first place like last year, we are still very pleased with this result. Great to receive recognition for all our hard work.
We have had our second visit from Environmental Health and we are pleased to report that we have maintained our Level 5 rating. Well done to our nursery Cook Della!
We would like to welcome Molly as our Level 2 apprentice. Molly will mostly be working with the toddlers in our Barn Owls room. Please look at our ‘Meet the Team’ page to view our staff.
We would like to welcome Della, Rosemary and Siobhan.
Della is our Nursery cook who comes with a wealth of experience having been Catering Manager for twelve years at Whitchurch Junior School and a catering assistant for a further twelve years previous to that. Della will continue to build upon the healthy, nutritious and home cooked food that we already provide. Della currently holds a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate. We are ‘fine tuning’ our menus on a four weekly rota and will publish these for all parents to see in due course. Rosemary is a Level 3 practitioner and will be responsible for transitioning our toddlers to the pre-school room. Rosemary has many years of experience in childcare.Siobhan is another Level 3 practitioner who is in our toddler room. Siobhan holds a Level 1 football coach certificate and will be responsible for sports activities within the setting.
Bradley Barns Nursery is pleased to announce that we have won the Cheshire County Farms Competition Diversification class.
This is a County wide competition for the best farm based alternative enterprise.
It strengthens the decision to have a nursery on our dairy farm whereby the two businesses can integrate and work side by side. We believe a farm based nursery can help our children understand where food comes from and our outdoor environment can enhance each child’s learning development.
With locally sourced food for our kitchen and the Nursery now employing eleven staff from within the immediate area we are proud to have won this award.

Congratulations to our Manager Sarah and our Practitioner Jess for jumping out of a plane at 10,000ft!!! Well done to you both for raising money for our nominated charity and to all those who donated to our worthy cause.
