We are happy to say that we have come second in this years Cheshire Farms competition in the diversification section. Although not quite achieving first place like last year, we are still very pleased with this result. Great to receive recognition for all our hard work.
We have had our second visit from Environmental Health and we are pleased to report that we have maintained our Level 5 rating. Well done to our nursery Cook Della!
We would like to welcome Molly as our Level 2 apprentice. Molly will mostly be working with the toddlers in our Barn Owls room. Please look at our ‘Meet the Team’ page to view our staff.
We would like to welcome Della, Rosemary and Siobhan.

Rosemary is a Level 3 practitioner and will be responsible for transitioning our toddlers to the pre-school room. Rosemary has many years of experience in childcare.Siobhan is another Level 3 practitioner who is in our toddler room. Bradley Barns Nursery is pleased to announce that we have won the Cheshire County Farms Competition Diversification class.
This is a County wide competition for the best farm based alternative enterprise.
It strengthens the decision to have a nursery on our dairy farm whereby the two businesses can integrate and work side by side. We believe a farm based nursery can help our children understand where food comes from and our outdoor environment can enhance each child’s learning development.
With locally sourced food for our kitchen and the Nursery now employing eleven staff from within the immediate area we are proud to have won this award.
